The Civil Department actively promotes curriculum development activity by updating existing courses, developing new courses and preparing resource material for teaching. It undertakes industrial consultancy works as a part of its interaction with industry and also organizes seminars/symposium for professional interaction. The department is also very active in conducting conferences, workshops, short term seminars etc. The department has been constantly involved in a range of consultancy projects.The Electrical and Electronics Department is also a recognized research centre under Anna University in the academic year 2017-18with tremendous facilities which are useful to conduct laboratory courses for the both UG and PG Programmes. The department has highly sophisticated computers Laboratory with 1 Gbps of Internet Facility. The Department of Mechanical Engineering established in the year 2000. We have energetic and dynamic Faculty for providing complete Engineering Education converting young individuals into Engineers, with both classroom and shop floor knowledge. Our richly integrated curriculum of theory and practice aims to develop Engineers with creativity and overall ability so that they can lead the world with their own Capacity. Also, the Mechanical Engineering department has been signed MoU with different industries such as NITT-Siemens, TVS Upasana, Roots industries. In addition, we have collaboration with UTP UniversitiTeknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia, Miami University, USA for student internships and Research Activities.The department has a comprehensive curriculum on topics related to all aspects of computer hardware and software with an emphasis on practical learning. The course structure is up-to-date and includes courses on recent topics to equip our students with the latest developments in Computer Science and Engineering.
